Timeline Of My Day

31 Days Blog Challenge: Day 14 of 31 (first posts here: 1, 234, 5, 67, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13)

Our second semester started a couple of days ago and – being just a week in – I couldn’t but appreciate the timing of the next topic on my 31 days blog challenge list.

This timeline’s still a work in progress since I’m not sure which lessons I’m actually going to follow, but at least it gives me a rough idea of what I should be doing at any given time.

Here we go:

What’s In My Bag

31 Days Blog Challenge: Day 13 of 31 (first posts here: 1, 234, 5, 67, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12)

As you probably already know, I spent the last couple of weeks studying and even if I really tried, I simply couldn’t find the time to write. So, here I am, two weeks later with an unusual post.

If you read my 101 things in 1001 days list, you know that I’ve been meaning to create a stop motion video. As I don’t feel like I’m already that experienced to be able to just go for it and hope it comes out well, I decided to start small. Baby steps.

Since my next topic on the 31 days blog challenge was “what’s in my bag?” and I’ve been a pretty lazy person lately, I thought it’d be nice to actually show you what’s in my bag.

31 Days Blog Challenge: Day 12 of 31 (first posts here: 1, 234, 5, 67, 8, 9, 10, 11)

Today’s topic comes as a challenge since I’m known for being the kind of person who’s constantly writing down quotes and the thought of having to choose just one makes me want to skip it all, but – you know,

You’ve made your bed. Now lie in it.

With that in mind, I decided to go for a motivational quote, as I think it’ll be useful to share one now that January’s almost over and the charm of NY resolutions is gradually fading away.

Proudest Moment

31 Days Blog Challenge: Day 10 of 31 (first posts here: 1, 234, 5, 67, 8, 9, 10)

I’m normally overenthusiastic about questions: give me a question mark and I’ll be fine. There’s only one exception to this unconditional love of mine: “what is your greatest accomplishment?”

Someone asked me that once during a brief interview and it just left me speechless.

It wasn’t a matter of modesty as if telling it out loud would make me look like I was bragging about it, I simply realized that nothing that I had done until then really felt like an accomplishment. I was a good student, but that didn’t have real repercussions on my life. I spoke several languages (not too many, but still a little more than most of the people I knew), but that didn’t feel like an accomplishment either. I was in my 20s and simply had no clue.

First not-so-celebrity crush

31 Days Blog Challenge: Day 9 of 31 (first posts here: 1, 234, 5, 67, 8, 9)

I’m usually not the kind of person who has crushes on celebrities. In fact, I normally have crushes on fictional characters instead (the perks of being a bookworm growing up, lol).

For this and a whole other lot of reasons, I’d say Tom Felton was my first celebrity crush. I’ve always loved lonely and troubled characters and Draco was one of my favorite among the Harry Potter universe (needless to say, Snape comes first).

As I was still pretty young when the first movie came out and didn’t know Felton from any of his previous movies, I’ve always found it difficult to separate the actor from the character and ended up liking both. Continue reading “First not-so-celebrity crush”

Piercings and Tattoos

31 Days Blog Challenge: Day 8 of 31 (first posts here: 1, 234, 5, 67, 8)

Hello there!

Just like yesterday, I’ll have to keep today’s post short and simple.

We’re talking about those little (or not so little) things that – if you have (grand)parents like mine – your family wouldn’t want you to get, and you probably got (or will get) anyway.

As for me, I have to admit that as much as I wanted to, my indecision has always had the last word on the matter. Continue reading “Piercings and Tattoos”

10 Favorite Foods

31 Days Blog Challenge: Day 7 of 31 (first posts here: 1, 2, 34, 5, 6)

Not sure if I told you already, but I’m a foodie with the capital “f”. As they say,

They say.png

And I’m telling you that after spending 3 hours over lunch with my best friend at a great local Japanese restaurant with an all you can eat promotion at $10,90 (beverages excluded) where we – 2 gals in their 20s who had made a good breakfast not more than 4 hours before – ended up ordering and (needless to say) eating not 2, not 3, but 29 dishes.

With that in mind, imagine my panic the moment I looked at today’s challenge. 10 favorite foods? How exactly am I supposed to choose only 10 favorites? Still, I did my best to come up with a smart way to name as many as I possibly could within those 10, and here’s my ultimate list of foods I absolutely love and would totally recommend you to try if you haven’t already: Continue reading “10 Favorite Foods”
